Aster Power Control Unit (PCU) is designed to be compact integrated power feeding solution to the telecom base station. This replaces currently used disintegrated equipments like Isolation Transformer, Servo Stabilizer, AMF panel etc.

The Power Control Unit is designed to be a compact integrated power feeding solution to the telecom base stations. This replaces the currently used disintegrated multiple equipments like Isolation Transformer, Servo Stabilizer, AMF Panel (Generator Interface Unit), and Alarms Panel.

  • Automatic Diesel Generator monitor and controller
  • Alarms panel.

Phases          : 1 phase, 2 phases and 3 phases.
Voltage range:  Phase-Neutral 150–280 / 135–280

DG I/P :

Phases : 1 phase and 3 phases.

O/P Voltage :

220v +/- 10 % with Static Voltage Regulator (Thyristor based)

Best Phase pair selection : In case of 1 / 2 phases
Site Alarms monitoring and reporting :

Fire/smoke alarm, DG alarm, AC alarms, Door alarm etc.

 

UNIQUE FEATURES

The Phase Selector:

  • Micro controller based. Hence all parameters like change over times etc., are better tuned and optimized.
  • Senses Phase to Phase voltage, hence works well even if there is a problem with neutral line. And does not get confused with reverse voltage that comes back from the power transformer.

Static Voltage Regulator:

  • Wide input voltage range, 3 tap model works from 150 - 280 Volts and 4 tap model from 135 - 280 Volts.
  • Micro controller based. Proper tap change points, proper hysteresis, proper protection against possibility of thyristor failures. Proper visual indication in case of thyristor failure.
  • Bypass Switch: In case of SVR failure, bypass switch acts redundent, reduces down time in case of any failure in SVR (optional)
