| TV Towers - height ranges from 100m to 300m and FM Towers - height ranges from 50m to 200m
These towers are supporting structures for TV & FM transmitting antennae. Aster have years of experience in Design, Fabrication, Supply and Installation of Broadcast, Monopoles, High Masts and Windmill towers. The wind loads on the structure are considered as per International standards. The factors like terrain, topography and life span of the structure are also considered in the design. Ice load and seismic effects are also considered depending upon the location. The other parameters to be considered while designing the towers are the antennae load.
Considering all the above points the tower is analysed for static and dynamic effects of the wind. The tower members are designed, fabricated and installed as per International Standered viz. IS 875:1964, IS 800:1984 and IS 802:1984. The tower members including redundant and connections are checked for their strength. The towers sway and twist are calculated and maintained within specified limits. |

| Medium Wave (MW) Transmitters - Tower / Mast height ranges from 40m to 200m
We provide turnkey solution from design to installation of MW Masts of heights ranges from 40m to 200m
The MW Mast rests on the base insulator and is supported with guy ropes. The Guy ropes under tension exhibits non-linear characteristics. The loads are transferred to the mast through the guys. The Guy ropes are radiating elements and therefore the insulators are introduced in the guy ropes to get maximum radiating power. The mast is resting on a base insulator and it is free to rotate, therefore the erection of the Medium Wave structure in true vertical without twist is the challenging job. |

Short Wave Transmitters - 75m - 200m Short Wave Transmitting Supporting Towers are designed like Micro Wave Towers. In addition they have to withstand loads of accessories such as Screen / Curtain Antenna, pulley, wrenches, counter weights and supporting structures. The cross arm or connecting methods of Screen / Curtain mainly depend on the size of the screen and its accessories. |
